The 3rd year of high school and you have become a Junior. This time you will be looking at your EHS graduation requirements. Making sure you havn’t failed anything in those past 2 years. You’ll even take a post high school plan to make sure you’re thinking about what you’re going to do after high school, whether it’s a job, career, military, or apprenticeship. You can even sign up for University/Technical School field trips. As you do that, you can find out more about the school you’re going to a field trip for and hopefully get the information you want. Your resume should be updated this year as well so make sure you have written down all the skills you’ve gained since last year! You can register to take the SAT/ACT or even take a practice SAT/ACT.

There are several other ways you could find out more about the job you want, one is called Job Shadowing (optional), you go to a college/technical school and see what the students and teachers do on a daily business. Juniors are more pushed to do community service because in your senior year, it is required that you have at least 10 hours of community service.

Other things Juniors have to do are:

•University/Technical School Investigation

•Activity Documentation

•Business Week

•Job Shadow
