All teachers have different thoughts and opinions on the subjects that they teach, and many people don’t stop to ask them what they think, so to help everyone with that here are some things you may or may not have known.

Mrs.Serdahl:

   Why do you think it’s important for a student to learn history in High School?:   “It gives students a good historical back round and an understanding of other cultures.”

    What do you think History can do for a student after graduation?:   “It will open a lot of doors and a lot of opportunities in other countries and with other cultures.

Mr.Hunke:

  Why do you think it’s important for a student to learn History in High School?:  “The same reason it’s important to learn Math, Science, and English. In order to become an educated and productive member or society.”

  What do you think History can do for students after graduation?:  “It will help them make informed choices in multiple ares of society and become  productive member of society.

Mr. Moeller:

   Why do you think it’s important for a student to learn History in High School?:  “Social Studies represents the world around us, the more you understand the world    

around you the more successful you can potentially become in life.”

    What do you think History can do for a student after graduation?:  “History will give that student a strong foundation for future knowledge.”

Mr.Fountain:

    Why do you think it’s important for a student to learn History in High School?:  “We need to understand the back round of problems to understand the . Also, “Those who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it.”

   What do you think History can do for a student after graduation?:  “It allows them to understand situations and make better decisions about who they choose as a leader.”

Mr.Guertner:

  Why do you think it’s important for a student to learn History in High School?: ”It’s important for students to learn History in High School so that they have an understanding of who we are as a society, and what we had to do to get to this point.”

  What do you think History can do for a student after graduation?: “ History can give students the necessary goals they need to become a productive member of society.”
