I love books of all types, I love to read. I enjoy a quiet place to study.

How long have you been a library assistant?

Approximately eighteen years

Why did you choose Eatonville High School to work at?

The High School is a great place. I love the students here. The high school age students are just about grown up and are turning into adults

When you were a kid what did you want to be when you grew up?

A teacher

What is your favorite book?

Do you like fiction or non-fiction more? Why?

I like non fiction, more as I want to learn more about many subjects

What is your favorite genre? Why?

I love poetry. Ut is very exciting to me.

Do you like poetry? If so, what is your favorite poet or poem?

My favorite poem is “Stopping by the woods on a Snowy Evening”

What is your most memorable moment as a library assistant?

My most memorable moments are when a student says they don’t read and then they find something in the library and start reading.

What new things has the library offered to students this year?

New books fiction and non fiction

How long do you plan to be a library assistant?

I will be a library assistant as long a i love doing it.

Has being a library assistant changed your life in any way?

Being a library assistant has change my life in many ways. Learning the dewey decimal system, finding how to take care of books, and being around so many wonderful interesting books.

What satisfies you most about your job?

The students that come in each year.
