Eatonville is a great place to stop if you enjoy the outdoors and hiking. Many of the best hiking trails are located in Mount Rainier National Park. If you’d prefer something in a bit more of a controlled environment you can stop by Northwest Trek, a wildlife park where you can see more than 200 different animals. Animals may not be your thing, so you can also enjoy golf at the Tanwax Greens Golf Course which is only about 15-20 minutes out of town.
Finally, you can catch a movie at the Roxy theatre or visit one of the many museums and galleries in nearby cities like Tacoma and Olympia, such as the Tacoma Art Musuem. Eatonville’s website has a list of places to go here. Sports can also be found here, you can catch Eatonville High School’s games of football, soccer, and others.
